ETSY, UBER, ROKU all beat. They are all down big.

I don't really give a shit about losing the money. I'm pissed that I called it correct and have no reward. At least I still have 12 days to recover. It won't but I'll ride these to zero in spite. lol

I was going to say you can offset some gains but I think you play on the tax free field so it's just a catastrophe all around..

Current Tundras already look very generic to me and the new ones seem to continue the trend.

Tacos, Rangers, (certain) 1500s, even Gladiators are all pretty distinct. Seems once a truck is large enough to bloat kills a lot of character.

You've probably posted this before, but what are you majoring in?
I did mechanical engineering. Worked all through college. Almost the entire 4.5 years, I did part time at a pizza joint one of my brother's friends owned. Later on I also worked for the college tutoring freshmen/sophomores.
I had scholarships that covered most of my school expenses, but working provided some spending cash and ensured my account balances trended upward rather than downward for 4 years...there's a lot to be said for that.
15ish years later, when I sit in on interviews, all other things being equal the candidates who have ongoing work experience get higher ratings from me, regardless of what the jobs were. We get some new hires who seem to think their degree entitles them to their salary regardless of how much effort they put into their job. It's not foolproof but I feel like people who have continually held jobs are less likely to have that attitude.
Obviously, if your job(s) are at least tangentially related to the field you're going into that helps. If you can use experiences from them to show you can plan, organize, and lead others that helps too.

i think it's just more people sitting at home consuming. Good for the markets, sure.. sorta, it'll make it go with inflation a bit. As i've said before tho, long term this ain't good because we can't survive an economy based purely on consumption. At some point the US is gonna have to decide what it wants to make besides software in Si valley

4 year college = ticket to rat race

real estate, investing, entrepreneurship and saving = ticket out of rat race

Not sure what you’re going to school for but the faster you learn what can get you out of the rat race is key. I’m sure a lot of guys here are happy to say “damn I wish would have started xyz sooner” or “I wish I read that book in my late teens”

Look into the FIRE(financially independent, retired early) movement…plenty of resources there.

props to you for even being on this thread at such a younger age.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
You guys want a pharma company that doesn't make drugs, is global, is 95% held by institutions, does contract manufacturing on the side, makes all the goodies for injectables, and I could go on...

    I give you $WST
