55 grand is all it's worth, if that, maybe $49,999

 

The only thing is eBay actually charges a few hundred to list vehicles, at least that's what I read. I'll bet he sells it to Carvana

 

How much do you thing a 3rd gen OR cost to build, not counting labor, transportation and R&D? 3 to 5 grand is my guess.

 

It's a used Tacoma, it HAS been off roaded, todays prices don't effect how much it's worth, just how much someone is willing to pay for it.

 

No amount of mods in the world make a used Taco worth 81k. Period.

He may have spent 81k, but that doesn't mean it's worth 81k now.

You're right, it only needs to be worth it to 1 buyer. But.... realistically what someone spends on mods and the truck new does not equal current value.
