I'm nowhere near an internet gun expert:rofl:, but once I put an Elftmann in, I knew I would never go back. From here on out, all mine will have a drop in trigger.

AR410 is done :D Has a nice tight fit with no slop. Now to pull it apart, oil it, and get it ready to have the barrel cut down.

Yep, i just peaked in to see if they had the UU kits back in stock yet out of curiosity. I still have sme 2nd gen Pmags on back order from when I ordered my kit i noticed they went up from $10 to $14 also. I guess inflation is hitting all around now. I may still order the trigger who knows it may go up again

I just checked my email. Feb 2019 the assembled UUK was $902 for me. The stripped lower was $239 shipped and took about 3 months to arrive. Back then you could only get their stripped lowers if you already bought a UUK.

I was just suprised. I got an 18" UU kit about 2 months ago for $895. It suprised me it went up that much. In fairness it does now have their brake listed as coming with it where that was a $100 option when i ordered. Triggers have been $87 for quite a while and they went up. I do understand materias and shipping has gone up a bit. The kit I ordered was unassembled also

Yeah raw materials and manufacturing is so cray right now. But thats the price for quality, and definitely want to support our companies here in the USA.

OK, so now I get it. Finally got my lower put together with the MBT-2S in it. What a difference from a standard trigger, I had no idea. Glad I got in before the price hike, but even with the price hike I would likely put this on any new build.

Not sure you’re gonna want to run that optic on the hand guard like that. Might lose zero easier

    Same crap everyone else got
agreed, move it to your receiver. The handguard can shift and rotate. Also, don't bridge the mount on both the handguard and receiver for the same reason. Put it completely on the upper receiver.

That would defeat the purpose of the whole setup then because i wanted something i could still shoot close range with irons. Id only use laser at 70 yards plus. Im more of a try it and see what happens type of guy. Thanks for the advice though.

You can shift everything back a little bit starting with the rear sight, keep everything on there and lessen the likelihood that the handguard flexes or shifts causing a loss of zero on the front optic.

If the current setup works, great...but there are options if it doesn't

What's the difference in the iron sights staying fixed and the red dot getting knocked out?
