If I recall, MESO built the harnesses the same. The difference between stage 1 and 2 was the bulbs. The switchback uses the same VLEDs harness connector.

Correct, and the Stage 2 has the adapter for the VLED Triton bulb and you will need to modify the taillight to accommodate the larger bulb

    Yup, easy peasy…
I ended up making a “Stage 3” which is ALL Triton v6 - two extremes and a switchback.

Doesn't get much better than that, besides the ultimate tails. I saw VLED had a new radial lens out, same output I think, just lighting pattern

I love my Stage 2 though. Although I'm running stock at the moment, busted one of my taillights in June and need Triton adapters for my new taillights. I kind of feel a little embarrassed running stock function :( after having them for a few years

I feel for you - I had an LED failure in my original uppers and had to put the OE back in temporarily. Talk about embarrassment! At least I still had my horseshoe… I had two pairs of adapters, but I’m down to just one pair after giving @tonered an upgrade.

Always good to have. I keep a few spare sets of everything in my overhead molle rack

In my case, not MESOs, this was before… (aamazon) - the solder and plastics failed. The light output was significant but not amazeballs like the v6 or v6 Extremes. Doesn’t hurt to have spares of anything available… the only question is how much will fit in your truck!

Good advice here! You don’t happen to have part number for the switchback by chance?

I appreciate it everyday and am still trying to think of ways to pay you back.

Recently, I have been seeing more TotalTails. Such a pleasure to follow.

If you already have a stage one I don't really see why you would want to go to a stage two, unless you need to absolutely without a doubt blind everyone behind you lol

Am I confused or was @MESO working with Morimoto to come out with a new set of taillights?

I swore I read that, but then I started reading the ultimate turn signal thread and thinking maybe I was confused?

He is… delays… but expected. He gave the dates, but I’ve forgotten if fall or winter.
