Absolutely; you forked good money for those straps so why not use them.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
Very mild port blending job, kinda fun though

Just needed to open and funnel the mixture from the manifold which has bigger ports.

Also taking the extra slag out of the bowls, but that's not worth of a picture really.

Don’t forget to port the coolant jackets for that extra cooling!

You're not supposed to just fill those with epoxy?

Good taste. There are some minty Treks on local Craigslist that I've talked myself out of buying so far. I'm running out of garage space.

    I love that crackle paint.

The Evasion's been great. I use mine as a road-ish bike for pavement and gravel rides. I like riding it a lot more than the various Surly Cross-Checks I've tried. It might not be as smooth as the All-City Space Horse (the OG Canti model, in Elven Blue, chef's kiss), but that's to be expected when the Evasion Lite has hardened steel and the Space Horse had standard 4130, as well as the carbon fork vs steel fork. I think the Evasion Lite is the only Crust that was made with hardened steel.

I think the frame build quality and finish are comparable to All-City, which I consider a good thing. I'm a little iffy on the Crust carbon fork, though. I'd like to swap it for a Ritchey Adventure Fork (if I can ever fine one) to see how they compare. It's not that the Crust fork is bad, but I suspect the Ritchey fork is much nicer. Ritchey's got a bigger R&D budget and takes pride in making really smooth-riding stuff. I also expect that Crust's steel forks ride smoother than their carbon thanks to the inherent sproinginess of steel. For most people, I think either the OG Evasion or OG Bombora (OG == steel fork) is a better choice than the carbon-fork versions.

HEY if you have those running board mounts handy would you be willing to box them up and ship em? I gots $$$

Then if the boards are still around, maybe we can strap them to the frame whenever I figure out how it’s getting home to me. Lol

Yeah! Hope the tires work well for you.

I just rode the bike the DHR came off of tonight. Now it's got some old ultra-lightweight XC tire I got from a coworker. So much faster and smoother on the pavement... that DHR needs loose dirt to feel at home. Thanks for giving me the motivation to finally swap it!

Not me brother... Came across my feed thought I'd share. Someone asked where but no reply. Figured it was a river.
