Right. Prior to 2019 there was a large driver's side cubby and a passenger side one in the bed. The driver's side one was discontinued.

Yeah, the driver's side one was the most useful. It was the size of the passenger side one and electric outlet cutout combined.

I use my truck for construction work and I find at least twice a month I use 4lo just to back the truck up a customers driveway, even with an empty bed I still have to slip the clutch to keep from stalling out. Fortunately it's always a straight shot so I haven't had to worry about binding...yet.
Honestly I have no idea why they would pick such a tall reverse gear, I bet you could get up to 35 mph in reverse.

Well I said earlier in this thread that the 285 KM3 on my method wheels were my favorite mod. Not anymore. Last night @chanvchau did the OV tune for me. All I can say is WOW, what a whole new truck. I highly recommend this tune. I mean this truck always makes me smile regardless, now I just giggle like a school girl every time I take off from a stop light.

So late to the party but I have to say the 3 TPAM from Expedition Essentials is my favourite mod....... I honestly thought it would be the Elka 2.5s but that TPAM is just amazing it looks good on the dash and gives me extra power points for USB Charging and a secure place to hold my phone GPS Tablet radio (GRMS) so I am not clogging up cup holders or the Qi spot (I don't have Qi but use the cubby for easy storage) This thing is great even if your not jumping on the overland band wagon its super convenient.

It is just really really well built and thought out I love it and mine is one of the 1st gen the newer ones are even more refined ! nothing mounted via the RAM mounts bounces around the USB is all 3a so rapidcharges everything its just an everyday useful addition on the truck. Not as sexy as the elkas but damn its been super useful !

    Cheers.

and if anyone wants more info or pics here is the link to the manufacturers website.

Sadly thinking about selling it too. Have a Pro 4Runner coming in and only need to keep one.

I don't know honestly. I ordered it because I lucked out on getting an allocation and it wasn't marked up. I figured the wife would drive it. The more I thought about it and her loosing so many features compared to the Highlander, I don't think she will be as happy with it. Which puts me in a weird spot. I absolutely love the the Tacoma. It was the only rig that made me want to sell my old trusty Ford truck. I always say I need a truck but this 4Runner has me intrigued. In the past few years I've only used the bed of my old truck to carry my bike, hockey gear, a few TDY's, occasional random item, and mulch twice a year. I can do that in the 4R no problem. We're also traveling more with my daughters team and work so the 4R might be more comfortable. Sorry for the long response. I'm torn on what to do really and can't justify an accurate answer.
