Norcal Spotted and BS Thread

It's gonna be a dogfight for Cal Fire to get containment. Super populated area so they are doing more structure protection then containing. Gonna be a long night for a lot of folks.

 

Friends are w/in five miles of the current evacuation zone. They are not staying tonight.

 

I feel for you, I got friends who got evacuated from their place west of Colfax which puts their house between the fire and Rollins lake. I went camping with them 2 weeks ago and ironically they talked about moving because of the fire risk.

 

Damn…. Sorry to hear. Hope their house survives. My wife and I are moving out of CA here in a couple of months and although there are some things I’ll miss about CA, the fires are one of the biggest reasons why I was happy to bounce.

 

Ya I was just over there this last weekend. One family member has been digging out the side of the mountain to build an underground fire bunker... looks like it wasn't built fast enough

Anybody know where to get some extended brake lines for the rear? 2nd gen Tacoma

Damn, these fires suck. I grew up in Grass Valley and my buddy has a cabin in Lake Almanor. Both places at risk right now. Stay safe out there, guys and gals.

 

I know you don't like em... I've never had anything but good luck with them.

 

Neither have I. I also haven't purchased anything from them since the TG merger. Lots of folks starting to complain. Or at least a lot more then in the past.

 

That little kid was awesome last night. I hope she takes up a career in broadcasting someday. Nobody will ever replace Kruk & Kuip but she’s a gamer!

 

My wife is from Grass Valley, we go up a few times a year to see her mom, dad and brother still living there. Her dad lives in Alta Sierra and apparently the fire is real close, he was on the verge of evacuation last night.
