I had my 2002 Tacoma for 16 years. Loved it, but had to upgrade to something bigger and I needed 4x4. I miss the Tacoma but at the same time love the Tundra.

I'll consider the 87 my first as it was my grandpa's. Still have it, most current Pic.
The 2008 is the second regular cab I've owned.

Harden your bark, there are storms on the horizon.
    No pics handy. My story goes: 1995 T-100, 3.4l, 4wd, reg cab, 8' bed. >> 2006 Tacoma, 4.0l, access, 4wd, froad edition. >> 2021 Tacoma, 3.5l, dcabsb, froad edition.

I've been DDing Toyo pickups exclusively since...2000. Currently...the 06 is the favorite. I don't think the new one will ever take it's crown. Minivan engine, multiple electro doodads that I don't want or need, numb controls, storage all gone. 06 had anti-lock...that's it. No other gizmos or safety nannies. T-100 didn't even have anti-lock...and look here...I survived. Huh.

My ex-wife came into the marriage in 92' with a standard no thrills Toyota P/U. Drove that thing as a commuter until around 2006 (stick shifts in traffic suck). Got into a pre-runner in 2008, which was replaced by my 2016 4x4. No pics of the earlier two, just current.

Well, lets start with my first Toyota (body on frame so kinda a truck) was a 1979 FJ 40. Then I waited a while and got my 08 FJ Cruiser. I went for the Trail Teams version. I reall =y liked these new Toyotas. So, I put some cash down on a 2016 4Runner. Noce. But, I wanted more. I got rid of the 4Runner and got the 2018 Tundra TRD Sport. I like it very much but I just got it off the lot without thinking about it much. Still have it, but after getting some noise from the wife about giving up the 4 Runner, I got her a 2019 4Runner Limited. She is very happy with that. And, last but not least, I had to have that 2021 Tacoma TRD Pro. It is now my daily driver. That is why I am on this site.... Lots of nice trucks in here!

I've only owned two...first one was a 1997 LX 4x4 3.4L 5spd manual. Bought in 2007 for $8900. In 2008 it failed the frame test and Toyota bought it back for $12k.

Current one that I've owned for 11 years now...

Gone through a few trucks for my young age (21) and mostly all of them single cabs but my first truck in high school was a 98 Tacoma 4cyl 5 speed 4WD that I loved to death but sold it after a year because I needed more room for sports and friends (stupid mistake) I’d still love to have it back
And my current work truck is a 2007 Tacoma 4cyl 5 speed 4WD that I’ve had about 8 months and is my work truck now, I’m a Chevy man and love a silverado but a Tacoma will always hold a spot in my heart and in my driveway

My biggest regret was trading in my 2nd gen taco for a grocery getter. Now with how the grocery getter has depreciated, there is a 15k differential in what they would be worth if I kept the Taco, in the Taco's favor.

I've got a 2021 OR and once again all is well. But I will always have a truck from now on.
