My mom tried that once, when I was in the car with her, I was around 7 or 8 as I recall.

Well, actually, we were waiting at a stop sign directly behind said garbage truck, and when he left the stop sign, for whatever the hell reason, he did so in REVERSE and munged the hood of my mom's car. No serious damage, just a WTF?? moment for all of us.

Had the perfect opportunity for a customer to take (almost) responsibility for being an idiot and ruining a tool. What tool, you ask? A palm sander...with its dust bag so full you couldn't even compress it and would have to remove the now cake-like substance with a screwdriver. The problem, you now ask? It began making bad noises, like saayyyy a failing bearing and soon-to-be motor that have now spun in so much fine powder it rivals Scarface. Of course, they didn't want to get it repaired because "I've never done that. I've always gotten a new one". I bet you have Karen, I bet you have. Now proceed to watch me tell you that it's your fault and have someone else deal with you because I ain't about to lose my job as you tell a manager whatever story you use to beat down the service industry on Yelp.

I came upon this shit show on my first run of the day. I had to come through here again 6 hours later and the ramp was closed down so they could transfer the load to another truck after hand stacking the contents. That is the only way to get to the turnpike from where I was so I had to go out of my way putting me way behind. It’s gonna be a long day.
