When do the 2022's arrive?

My SR 4X4 GETS built this week.
Guessing it's still a 2021 model.
Any idea when the 2022 models arrive at the dealer?

 

I have the dealer contacting me once 2022's can be ordered and so far silent. I'm guessing ordering starts end of Aug or Sept 2021?
I've noticed trucks arrive on lots earlier in mid-west than in Northeast by a few weeks too.

A side note, my wife ordered her 2022 Subaru Impreza the first day they opened orders. She was the 2nd order in the region (NE). Got a call it will arrive end of Aug. OK, scheduled end of Aug. No deposit as dealer figures they could sell it 10 times over if not picked up

 

A dealership here in northeast TN told me I could go ahead and order a 2022. I plan on going in tomorrow and doing that

 

thought about a possible trade-in but I'm waiting to see what the new ones bring in a couple years.

My dealer contacted me Jul 8th said the computer allowed him to input my order. Thats when I found out cement and voodoo were discontinued. Blue crush has been added but I looked at it on a corolla....but not a fan. So MGM it is.

Salesman said likely mid Oct till it arrives. I'm in Canada.

 

That’s similar to how I found out, I called the nearest dealership and asked about ordering a voodoo blue off-road and was told that it was being discontinued for 2022

 

Ordering started in July. My bet on them arriving would be December-January. That's what the dealer computer is telling me.

 

The toyota trucks usually show up around mid september here.

Love or hate?

 

I like it a lot, but too flashy for me. I expect a lot of people to get it, not my style though.

 

I want to see EL on a long bed limited.

 

I’m assuming this is just in Canada and only SR and SR5 models? I saw an email from the dealer here where they said they won’t be releasing anything yet for other tier trucks yet. The SR and SR5 were for fleet sales which was originally slated for June 1 but obviously that has been delayed as well.

 

Someone had told me that 2022 Tacos should not be expected for delivery until late October at the earliest. Supply chain issues. COVID triple whammy.

 

Great. Let us know how it goes. I be suspect of the dealer just wanting me in for the trade and just do a "pre-build" sheet over a real factory order. I hope I'm wrong and your answer will have me heading to the dealer or just holding fast (patiently).

 

Blue Crush is new as well.

No Cement or Voodoo Blue.
