SO $MCFE declares a special dividend...
People will now rush out to buy for the dividend...
and then pay tax on the cash...
If you're not doing this in a tax free account I don't get it...

 

It looks like that dividend is mostly going to institutional owners...That's an insane %

I picked up RIOT and MARA calls on Tuesday. I was looking at my recent history, and I’ve grabbed RIOT calls on Tuesdays several times successfully. Maybe I’m just bored on Tuesdays or it’s a trend, who knows. Also have a dozen Aug and Sept ASTR 7.5 calls I picked up after its big sell off from last spike that finally started making me money today. Hoping INFI builds on its run this time. Overall it’s been a decent week. Gotta start digging around for my next plays.

 

Nvda options have done me well the last two weeks.
I’m also a paper hands and take profits only to watch it rise another 5$ but profit is profit.

 

Where’d you see this? Looking into it more and not seeing anything

I never buy OTM calls. I did with RIOT this round. Three reasons. The mining hashrate was cut way down. They ordered miners from Bitmain a few months ago. Not set for full deployment until 2022 but I bet my ass Bitmain is sending each unit as soon as it's done. I really think BTC will actually head north soon. I'll find out on 8/10 whether I was right or wrong.

 

Very interesting filing from GTii. It's the S1 for the warrant conversion to shares. Filed today. E-Trade is on the list. So, I think I'll be able to exercise them through my broker.

Yea, another reason I take RIOT swings fairly regularly. I’d like to have tickets when BTC goes off again and they follow. And the ups and downs while I wait have been consistent enough to make it profitable in the meantime
