Yeah you wrote what you wrote and implied what you implied ;)
In any case Waddell says the Canes did their research on DeAngelo and believe he’s a reformed NJ hothead.

Time will tell. Not gonna bet on it but he knows he’s got to tow the line with the Canes or he’s a goner.

Read into my comments what you will I guess?

It was a Kane joke with a blast at teams with questionable roster moves. This is a trash talk thread after all.

So question for a Sharks fan. Should Kane get a lifetime NHL ban if he bet against his own team? I mean Pete Rose bet for his own team in MLB and got that. The precedence is there.

haha I didn’t catch that part. I have read other interviews that had more substance, as well as a long video interview he did. Indicated he had gone through some counseling to covert him from one of those loud mouth NJ city boys to a friendly southern gentleman
Also by the way they interviewed some of his teammates who actually liked him and he got along, that skirmish he had notwithstanding.

LOL I didn't even connect the dots that Ethan Bear and D'angelo are now in the same locker room. I mean we are talking about a guy who wore a Inuit language jersey for practice to make a statement, and a guy who has a problem with minorities, who will be the teams top two D men. It'll either go amazingly well or horror story. I'll be watching with popcorn all the way.

well truth be told and personalities aside, Canes trades and signings this season have me shaking my head. Dropped some good players including Nedj (watch that come back to haunt them), and picked up some questionable ones. Like I said earlier looks like an owner Tom Dundon budget team to me, hope Im wrong.

Bear is a fantastic pickup. I have no idea why the Oilers moved him. He was their second best D last year, arguably will probably grow into a mid level top two D man on any team, and he made it clear he wanted to be a lifetime Oiler. From what I remember he actually had the greatest effect on his teams advanced stats when you pull out the million and one assists Nurse got from feeding McDavid on the PP. As long as Carolina is chemistry wise a fit for him he's going to impress you.

whatever the players, Brind’Amour motivates them to play as a team, players like the guy. what the Canes were weakest on this season was passing the puck. Tampa bay excels at that and that’s why they beat the canes in the playoffs in part (they split regular season). That’s one area I’ll be watching the coming season.
Glad to hear good feedback on Bear.

Not a fan. Don't they make enough revenue without? I would imagine that most players aren't a fan either. They are professionals, not billboards. All I can see in my mind is those people who stand with a sandwich board over their head or the ones who hold those giant going out of sales signs at busy intersections. LOL.

I mean some European soccer teams drag in more in Jersey spnsorship than they do in advertising on the actual field. I could see the players being all for this since it'll help raise the cap in the future.

To be clear I dislike but I'm guessing the players are pro anything that raises the salary cap.

I think a neon patch that lights up and flashes every time a guy scores would be a big winner with the advertisers. For the goalies, it could be a great save. LOL.

    It just keeps getting worse.
Not sure how he'll top this, but I'm sure he'll find a way.

“Plaintiff (Parker) was unwilling to terminate the third pregnancy until Defendant (Kane) offered her two to three million dollars to do so,” Johnson wrote. (According to bankruptcy court documents, Parker allegedly aborted a fetus conceived with the hockey player twice before, and Kane paid her $125,000 for the second abortion.) “Then, on June 13, 2018, Plaintiff sent Defendant a text message of her lab results, which confirmed she had terminated the third pregnancy. When Plaintiff requested Defendant update her on the status of her payment, Defendant, for the first time, told (Plaintiff) he was not going to pay her, stating: ‘I’ll have my lawyer contact you I’m not dealing with this any further then.’

“I can infer from the complaint that Plaintiff falsely said he would pay … to abort the third pregnancy, and that he did so to deceive (her) into actually undergoing that abortion.”
