You can absolutely hammer it, and in cases where someone is wanting to minimize rubbing under articulation and near lock, it'll be necessary. Work the entire area evenly avoiding at trying to max out one area before moving on, you want to avoid creasing and aggressive hammering can open the pinch weld.

Yes, you’ll have to hammer the firewall. Also, your upper control arms are adding caster by the upper ball joint having been moved rearward so in turn pushing the tire towards the rear. Alignment numbers don’t equal clearance. You could switch to an SPC UCA that uses an adjustable upper ball joint which will allow you get the wheel further forward vs the non-adjustable ball joint uppers. SPC’s don’t have the cool factor but they work and have plenty of travel if still using stock LCAs.

    Stock-ish
Get SPCs and run less caster just by adjusting the upper balljoint forward, and yeah hammer that shiot in!

Can you send a picture of your cams? That’s way too much caster which is probably pulling the wheel back on compression. I’m current at 1.7 caster but we need to see the cams.

Does anyone have a picture of trimmed fenders without the fender flares? My truck did not come with them, as it is an SR5

Hey guys I am getting an alignment done tomorrow in prep for 35s whenever the delivery system feels the need to get my parts to me. I have taco tabs on the LCA. Rear outboard front inboard. I have SPC uppers. I don't think I could go wrong with setting D or E, but figured I see if anyone has any experience. I couldn't get in to my regular shop before my trip to ECGS, so I'm hoping the local tire shop guys have their shit together enough to follow the printed directions. Thanks for any insight you can offer.

Well finally got around to doing this. As others have said, I didn't know what I was getting until I recieved these liners cause there really wasn't any good pics. These things are kind-of useless out the box for trimmed fenders. They have to be heavily modified to work. Nonetheless, they are in; I didn't even need the tabs that were cut when the fenders were trimmed or any other type of mounting hardware. They sit in place by themselves and are pretty sturdy. They aren't moving. Overall not the best, but it'll do what it needs to.20210805_172151.jpg 20210805_172151.jpg 1628210006138431281348749703766.jpg

Definitely did. I had to add 1 in Bora spacers. Will eventually by wheels that will clear without them, but they're doing their job for now.

Sure are. I was going to add L brackets but I saw no need to. They're not moving.

That seems like a good option then if no hardware is needed or mounting points.... I don’t mind trimming them over and over to get a perfect fit (assuming that’s what you did) and sandwiching them in there.

I see they sell them with L brackets to to maybe secure them a bit more. Do you have any pictures of the whole truck with the fronts trimmed and the rears untrimmed?
