Finally got mine done. Went ahead and put on 5100's, new UCAs, LCAs, tie rod ends, hubs, brake pads and rotors, and a set of replica TRD Pro wheels in 17x9 et0. Couldn't be happier, it literally rides and drives as well or better than a brand new truck.

Dirty truck and sloppy pics. Sorry, I've been a bit busy.

I've thought about a shell, but when I make a pros and cons list, I end up leaning more towards building an overlanding trailer. I do like the way they look though :) And nothing finer than a silver DCLB

An over lander trailer would be sweet. I got the shell to sleep in during our camping trips. I’ve got a 1st without a shell that I can use to carry tall stuff in. Got the best of both worlds. Haha

I stumbled across a trailer build on the yous tube that I think I want to emulate. Built with double 2x6 skids on the bottom to slide on and off a utility trailer. 5 min with a come along to slide it on or off the trailer if you need to haul something else.

Thanks man. I was looking at their black or bronze options but this showed up on my local Facebook marketplace for a steal so I chanced the color combo.

I like how you have your truck lifted. What kind of lift set up do you have in front and rear?

Thanks man! I’ve got the 4” spindles with Bilstein 5100s on the 3rd notch upfront. The rear is a 2” AAL and 3” block.

Is there any additional lift from your spring or is all the lift from the spindle?

That is all from the spindle! Still using factory springs

Wanted to pick this groups brain on rear shocks. I currently am running all-pro standard pack in the rear, and 5100s all the way around with the 4" spindles.

Was thinking of swapping the rear for the 5160s to upgrade/replace since they are getting up there in miles. Would those work? I don't think they would provide any additional lift if I am correct?

    TIA!

Shocks themselves don't provide any lift, that is all determined by your leaf pack. The extended and collapsed lengths look like they should work fine for the All Pro Standard pack

Thanks for that clarification! Will hopefully be able to replace the tired rear shocks. May see what sales show up possibly for fronts.

    Appreciated!

Look into Bilstein 6112. That's what I'm running. Hard to beat for the money
