Yeah short sighted to put it there where it’ll collide with the UCA gussets. I have way too much preload and negative camber on the passenger side so it’s coming back off anyways. I rode it around the yard and found that the tire collided with the limit strap and LCA at full lock. Steering stop hadn’t engaged yet. Alignment is way off so that needs to be fixed before I can accurately see what’s going on with that. I may have to step down to a lighter coil, it’s sitting wayyy high.

If you like the spring rate but want a lower ride height let me know and I’ll trade you out for a shorter spring

18” 600lb. I think they will ride fine, just hoping they can ride lower.

I would just give it a little time before jumping to swap IMO. Wait until you get your kinks worked out in the front end. I only say that because I was a bit too high with 18”x600 and 16”x600 likely would’ve been fine, and I’m even lighter than you up front.

I take that back I have 18” coils. I originally was going with 16” 650. Got confused

Ahhh then maybe you are a little high then. I went 16x700 then 18x600 and finally 18x500. Very thrilled with the 500s for my use.

Yeah I have a feeling backing off all the preload won’t be enough, but we will see. 18” 550’s or 16” 600’s could be the ticket.

Took all the preload out and still riding about an inch or so too tall. Might settle a bit. Drove really strange on the road. Hard to explain but felt like it never wanted to center itself and when you correct it wouldn’t stop turning until you correct the other way a bit. Almost like it was running over itself if that makes sense.

First glance it looks like it’s toed out too much but they’re adjusted all the way in until the extenders bottomed out.

You need a 16” spring or an 18” with a softer spring rate but for the weight you carry a 600# should work great.

Get an alignment and get that sorted out. Caster being way out will cause what your describing. If you can visually see toe being wack then definitely get an alignment.

I have taco tabs set for camber/caster. I don’t see how they’re going to be able to toe it in any more since I threaded the outers all the way in and that wasn’t enough.

Do you have the double shear steering kit or just regular TRE?

You put all new suspension under it. It's gonna require different setting than those taco tabs. And camber and caster affect toe so there is that.

Regular TRE. Just looked at it in the daylight and there’s a crazy amount of toe out. Like two inches just eyeballing it.

The way I have them toe would benefit I would think. I have the rear most mounts half out and the front half in although they’re in different slots relative to each other.

Three settings- 1-max in board, 2-middle, 3-max outboard

    DR-3, DF-2, PR-2, PF-1

It’s possible you were accidentally sent the steering extensions for the +4 kit

So those arms and everything are completely different than the stock stuff it would be good to put it on a machine or measure and see where everything is. If camber is way out it could be affecting you getting your toe set correctly
