Ali will say it is amazing on market place and Craig’s list how people don’t get back or follow up, I guess they get burned out on requests
Wanted to go look at a Ford osb but guy won’t respond guess they are honest when they say don’t have to sell

 

Sometimes I wonder if some people get their jollies by listing an item, leading you to believe it truly is for sale, then you say ok, on my way with cash in hand...oh, sorry I just sold it.

After I said meet at 11am, she didn’t respond for an hour and got mad because someone else agreed to buy them probably 10 minutes later.

 

I've got plenty of shop work to do so I better make myself productive.
Need to find a few minutes to make something like this too. Little plastic strip that hood latch rides on when closing. Not hurting anything without it, just sounds harsh metal on metal. This one I could put back on and help but about 1/2" broken off.

 

I’ll also add that I had these cases priced as the same price Walmart had them for.

My wife tells people, why would i buy from you if i can get the item new for same or cheaper price.

 

Just had to send the trainee to the hospital. He was hammering on a 1 1/2 in pin trying to knock it out of a fulcrum in our stacker. A 3cm long piece of metal broke off of somewhere at high velocity and entered his arm, cutting into a vein. Patched him up to stop the bleeding and off he went. Sometimes freak accidents happen even with safety gear and everything locked out.

 

My biggest gripe... (a true story)

You talk on the phone - seller assures you
You drive XXX miles, have cash, tools and a car trailer
You get there, check everything out, make your deal

AND THEN...

The dude looks at the ground, shuffles his feet and launches into a long exhaustive saga involving his ex father in laws elderly next door neighbors second cousins wife -- some damn fool...

and then says the word "Title". > >> >>>
