Sadly me still, I cut 2 loose Wednesday when I was up a little to limit my exposure. The rest are hoping for a run UP not this

Even more sad is the fact I almost dumped 3/4 of my positions when it ran up $1.50 this AM. I was at 25% profit. Now, I'm at a 30% loss. lol

Harvested a broccoli for the first time...
It's a lot of work for a tiny payoff..maybe we'll get some secondary florets.

this is my 3rd play on his stuff...first 2 paid off fantastically...
in $FNGR @$2 and out 95% at $15 ...
it's just about a waiting game..that took 9 months.

It's nuts how volatile it is right now. I usually like volatility but this one keeps pissing me off. lol

 

We did a garden this year. The previous owner put in 2 raised beds so I tried my hand this year and plan to expand it next year. My neighbor has about 12 raised beds and a full irrigation system running through them while I still walk out and water mine with a hose like some sort of peasant. I did 12 tomato plants (in hindsight, this was too many), 4 green peppers, 4 jalapeños, and 9 okras. The okra don’t put out much fruit but they are delicious with what I have been able to harvest. Talk about an air fryer. Chop a few of those up and toss them in. Yum! My neighbor had broccoli and that was my view on it as well. Had a huge broccoli head pop out of the middle of his plant and that was that.

 

You can eat the broccoli leaves as well. Don't waste them. You can do wraps or use them like Kale. Same kind of green taste...Good stir fried with garlic and oil etc.
I always do peppers, tomatoes, cukes, zucc, BASIL!!!!, Cilantro, sugar snap peas..
Reminds me...It's time to plant a 2nd round of peas for the fall.
Swiss chard is good.
Peppery arugula is awesome.
Just don't put tomatoes and peppers in the same raised bed. They don't like each other.

 

It won’t keep a run long enough to make me say woohoo, and it won’t just die enough that I can say I’m fucked and then I can ignore it.

 

The 12 tomatoes are in their own and the peppers are with the okra. My mom is a seasoned gardener so she help….errr did all the work while I watched…

 

Take the money! I have ptsd from not taking profits now.

Some wonderful childhood memories took place in a garden.
I miss it.
And when I own my own domicile I’m gonna crush it, just like my grampa.

 

It’s very satisfying being able to walk outside and grab some fresh vegetables to cook with. Last night I sautéed a bunch of tomatoes with a couple jalapenoes until they were good and saucy and put it over some Penne pasta. It was so much better than a jar

 

I learned 20+ years ago that's it's much less back breaking to buy that stuff from those folks who actively enjoy gardening...
