says it last 3 months on one charge. I think it has a connection for a solar panel or power. I dont think its out yet so i havent really looked into it.
After thinking about it though may be okay to have one or two. If i had like 4-5 it may too much to deal with lol i dont want to be charging every 3 months. Gives you options though. They have a Flood light cam also coming out.

Sherwin Williams Duration exterior flat paint is what you want. It's self priming, very low voc, high solid/weight content, and still has a slight sheen for flat paint which repels water well and holds up extremely well in hot desert climates.

No matter what paint you choose you have to do the prep work though or it won't last and will always look like garbage. I use morflexx sanded caulk, permanent patch 102, and sika stucco patch for stucco gaps and cracks. For wood trim and fascia I use permanent patch 101 and regular wood filler putty.

I patched and painted my entire house myself this past fall/spring during the shutdown. Several of my neighbors were inspired and hired out for painting, but they used cheap paint and didn't do the prep. I'd be surprised if they get 3-5 years out it.

I can proudly say my house has the best paint on the block and it will look good for many more years to come. ;):D:rofl:

That is some kind of high gloss ya got there!
What makes this the best? And why will it still look like crap after ~5 years?

Sooo.. getting flooring installed, the question is will they require me to relocate that cable coming thru the floor or be able to notch around it. I figure they will let me know when they arrive but figured I'd ask here first. I want to move it, but the wife doesn't want me to punch a hole thru the wall and have visible cable even though I can make it look nice and clean and professional. And coming up like that bugs me.

I would go up through the wall and buy the cable faceplate at Lowe’s. You can either cut for the box or just a hole for the cable and sheet rock screws for the faceplate.

Thought about that, I hate crawling around under the house. I may get under for a little recon just to see if I can do it easily..

I have to thank my brother in law for finally "encouraging" me to install this in my guest bathroom.

Shouldnt be too hard of a job since the fan will only be a few feet from that new soffit vent. Not looking forward to running the romex down into the existing switch box though. Gonna be tough without having to rip open the wall.

I treat my exterior plastic dryer vents, bathroom fan vents, etc. with 303 Protectant a few times per year. Really prevents drying/cracking and significantly extends the life. The sun is brutal on such components.

Nice. I just replaced my plastic hood vent cover with a metal one. Crumbled in my hands as I pulled it off the house.

Yup! Same thing happened to my prior dryer vent (the kind with flaps). Went to remove them to clean out lint and they crumbled). Replaced with another plastic unit and then started treating with 303. Just cleaned again and they're still like new.
