    Lol.....I'm right there with ya.
I had a 16 TRD 4x4 OR quicksand, then a 17 Cement Pro 4runner, 18 white Pro Taco, 19 black Pro Tundra, 20 white Pro Tundra (got totaled), now have a 21 Trail Tundra in cement, and will be trading in the Tundra (once I take all the mods off) for the black 22 Pro Taco.

So I like to get a toy truck that resembles my real one each time I buy a new truck. I have to say there isn’t much to choose from in the way of Tacoma toy trucks, but I did just pick up this toy Hilux at the goodwill today, so I guess that will do. Now I’m debating if I should repaint it Barcelona red or not.

Replaced the rear window on my leer and the-installed the camper shell on the truck.
It wasn't too difficult. I removed the window by taking the screws out on either side of the hinge rail and just slid the whole window and frame out. Oh, and first disconnected the struts. Drilled out the rivets holding the bottom of the frame on and it came right out. Reversed the process to install. I used a piece of 1/8" polycarbonate with anti-abrasive coating, and then had it tinted( must use tint made for poly). Added an extra rivet on either side to stiffen it up.
Cost $160.00 and a few hours labor.

Trying to get a replacement glass was next to impossible and the cheapest price I got was almost $700.oo

The moral of the story- Don't break the rear window glass.IMG_20210604_164645.jpg IMG_20210806_164651__01__01.jpg IMG_20210806_164718__01.jpg IMG_20210806_164748.jpg IMG_20210806_164612.jpg

I have been drooling over your mini trucks since I first saw them, but the cost is too high for me to go that route. $3 at the goodwill I can handle, $300+ for a mini like yours… just not in my budget at the moment. I will admit, yours do look amazing!

I appreciate that but unfortunately by the time you get chassis, electronics, lights, paint ECT the cost is a lot more than that but I really enjoyed building them over the cold winters just to see if I could do it. :hattip:

Just ordered a custom leaf pack from Alcan. Should arrive in 8 to 10 weeks. They are doing well on materials and running on time. There's something to be said for ordering EXACTLY what you need. Had the rear axel weighed today, then sooke on the phone and added in my super pacific camper weight, gear, and all the other crap.

It wil have 2 inches of lift built in.

From what ive gathered Benefit is a flatter bottom, sliders don't have to drop to go over the exhaust. Cost seems to be between $2-$300.
