    So SLT was great for me, it felt like I think it should stock. LT is definitely more of that butt dyno feeling to it, I was breaking the back loose off the line coming home - it was raining though.

    I got the LT for many reasons but big reason is that I am leaving TX for idaho in a few weeks so I want to make sure the tune is where I want it to be in prep for the lift and new shoes she's gonna get. Stock suspension wheels tires at the moment.

    I went from reg to LT and think it is the magic setting for all users. I have 35's and its great.

    @PapaRee , Kreg, in addition to being perfectly suited for my daily driving, my KDM6 is behaving very much like a gear lock tune when in S+ECT. I use this mode for towing the camper and it’s holding the gears gears very well, tends to unlock the TC rather than downshift, (if I’m not aggressive on the throttle), all very good. Is this built in or an unintended consequence? I really like how it operates. Thank you.

    Yes the ECT+ SMode is set up for towing. But it is not Gearlock.

    So you had Regular and then dropped down to LT? Thats interesting. I got the Regular and left it without trying anything else. Makes me wonder a little. Do you still have stock gearing?

    A week ago the poll had Regular and LT neck and neck. Now the LT has overtaken us.

    Regular ended up being to touchy off the line for me and I got annoyed at having to mindfully ease into from every stop. Switches to LT and much happier. 35’s, stock gears, maybe 100# of added weight.

    It really depends on the driver . Except for the size 32 tires, everything is stock on my 2017 and I love the regular throttle feel with the kdmax 6.0 premium tune . I’m light footed on the gas pedal so the regular suits me well traffic or not . Anyway, kdmax rocks .

    I actually think mine regular tune possibly adjusted and mellowed slightly after the first few days. Its not as sensitive off the line as it was initally. I havent experienced the LT version but Im guessing it is about the same now.

    Yeah, I made the switch and love it. It's a lot more smooth from the take off for my set up IMO. I'm also on 5.29 gears though.

    I'm a tuner and usually recommend people start off with LT unless they really want to get off the line fast
