20 years ago, I thought it would be cool to plant some spearmint.
It got a little out of hand.
Spearmint draws in small butterflies though...Fritillaries, Painted Ladies and Sulfurs mostly, and the occasional Red Admiral.
So I let it go...

Maybe I can get some pics of the butterflies tomorrow...

Spring and fall they say . I have not seriously fished it in 20 years . Too much boat traffic ,water skiers and wave runners in the summer . But yes back in the day I would catch 4+ pound bass all the time . I know someone that caught a small mouth around 7 pounds years ago . Also used to be pike in there .

I had El Portal, South of the border foods waiting on the countertop when I got home. Wife working late so nice of her to think of me. It's pretty good, and this was first time I've had one of their Tamales, need to try those again.
