    Accutune valved them.. but may be a possibility.

    Thinking that since it’s a 12 shock the amount of shaft showing should be 6”. Based on the information provided in their articles

    What? Unless you know the entire setup, pointing to valving is not necessarily the problem. Bypass shocks are complex, which is why we have a 5 part article on them.

    All of them.
    I definitely didn't take the bypass part into the equation. I saw shock was about centered in stroke and bouncy. Lol.

    I sent ShockSurplus three emails and a text through their online support form. Not once did they reply or reach out to me. It’s funny because I get a ton of emails from them saying how great they are with support.

    Enjoy your 2.0’s, loving mine so far.

    Question for you on your fronts did you adjust the 2.0 or did the come set at that height? I know they say they are a leveling coilover but Iv seen a few videos on line and they look like more than a 2 inch leveling kit guys are running a 285 with no chop on body mount. Just wandering if they can be raised before I install mine thanks!

    Looks like you got them at a pretty good price and that is usually the compromise made w customer service. I can’t tell you if they leveled or not because I did a progressive ICON 3 leaf AAL at the same time. The front driver coil was turned 3 turns up to compensate for the lean, and the passenger side of 1 turn down. My center of wheel to bottom of fender is as follows with a full tank:

    DS= 21.75 PS= 22.25
    DR= 22.5 DR=22.75
    *I have a carpeted fiberglass topper (200 lbs?) so it would probably raise the rear by .25-.5” without it.

    Every taco seems to be a little different but that can give you an idea of where your taco might sit. You can definitely turn them. There is another thread specifically on the Fox 2.0s and I think there is a reference for height per every 3 turns.

    Thank for the fast response and info I will definitely take a look at the link you sent! Yeah that’s the crazy thing with these trucks an lifts the all so different depending on what truck and what lift... Iv always done fully adjustable coils for up to 3 inch on my past trucks just not trying to go all crazy with this one. Not wanting 5 grand of lift on it. Just a nice ride and a little taller. I’m pretty happy with the 265 and at today’s gas prices in California!

    FYI, one of my lower eyelet spacers were installed incorrectly from Fox. The wide end should face forward on both shocks. Resulted in some minor rubbing/ contact with the LCA mount but nothing crazy. Pulled and re-installed correctly and the coilover obviously sits in a more “natural” position now.
    Other than that, these 2.5s really are amazing. 2AED6766-CD1F-4454-94F9-6365EA4791C6.jpg FC8A758F-192D-46E1-B1CE-77815CAB7F01.jpg

    All of them.
    Burned in some limit straps today to keep the shocks from topping out. Should help prolong the life of them. 20210804_132645.jpg 20210804_132653.jpg

    @AccuTune Offroad

    looking advise. I reviewed your articles and they have been extremely helpful. I am trying to find balance on either the Eibach 14" 650 or 700 springs to replace the 600 fox spring. Im running a BAMF hybrid bumber and sliders, ARB full skids, badlands apex winch, and a bed rack with a RTT which I take off when not in use. I don't want over kill but want to maintain as close a 2.5 lift as possible with out over kill on a heavy duty spring. I don't want to go to heavy if I don't have too and not sacrifice any daily ride quality when i'm not wheelin. Based on your accutune article, its pointing me towards 700. any suggestions is greatly appreciated.

    My truck is pretty heavy and similar to yours, bumpers, winch, sliders, skids, rear dual swing out, tools, gear, etc.

    I have 650# coils and really like the ride, and they are providing plenty of lift for the last two years.

    I really hated adjusting the Resis the first time. You gotta really crank on them.

    Honestly, I have no clue what lift numbers are over stock. It never really seemed like I was getting any numbers that were worth a damn to me. But I do have perfect sag setting and stroke up and down numbers for my liking. Here’s pics of the threads exposed.

    How much front lift do you currently have with the stock Fox 13" 600 lbs coils? How much front weight do you estimate you have added?

    I haven’t installed them yet, they are on back order some I’m in a holding pattern waiting for them to ship. I have my icon billet UCAs and ordering my deaver leaf, but everything will be waiting in the garage until it I do a full day install. I’m estimating the front alone with hybrid bamf bumper and winch is probably around 200lb-ish plus or minus 5-10 pounds. The sliders are maybe around 110 lbs, skid plate is around 70 lbs. That doesn’t include when I do hear up to camp putting the rest of my stuff on.

    So my fear is my desired height is 2.5” with the gear on 600lbs coils I’m wondering if I would have to put a lot of preload on the fox coils. Before I install I’m wondering if I should just replace the coils in advance that way I don’t have to pull them later to swap out for 650 or 700.
