Do you have a lift on your truck? I have a stock '19 OR and am curious if 285/75R16 would work with no rubbing as well. Current tire is 265/70R16. Thanks!

So far I am totally loving them, coming from 265/75 Wildpeaks which were also great.

I actually really like the stock steel wheels and found a set for $30 on marketplace. I’m happy. Form over function.

Those look like the older version of the AT3. IF that price is legit it’s a good time to go shopping.

I was going to wait for some sort of 4th of July deal but this seems like a great deal to me…

Looks great have the coopers on our yukon and love them, probably going to put them on the pro after the current Toyo R/Ts run out. Can you give me more details on your light setup behind the grille?

Second day on 265/70/17’s. Nice and quiet but getting vibrations between 55-65. When I get some free time I’m going to rotate to res and see if I can narrow down what wheel may be causing it.

Just ordered my 2nd set of the Discoverer AT3 LT (C) in 265/75/16. Probably the best AT tire I've ever run. Does great in winter here in Maine too.

Did you get an alignment done after mounting the tires?

    I did not.

The truck drove fine before I pulled off the OE TRD wheels/tires. I don’t have any pulling or strange handling characteristics. Is it common with trucks to get an alignment after going up a size in tire? I’ve only dealt with cars and I never had to get an alignment with different wheel and tire setups.

The wheels tires shipped complete from Tire Rack road force balanced.

They shipped with ~40 psi and I lowered them to 32 PSI with an old pressure gauge I had. Then after the first day driving on them I picked up a new pressure gauge and saw that they were at 34 PSI, so this time I lowered them to 30 with the new gauge, which seemed to help the ride quality.

The vibrations are still there just not as bad. Tomorrow I will rotate tires and see if the vibration can be narrowed down. Currently up until 55 the truck rides great and is nice and quiet.

Yeah I always get an alignment after I throw on new tires.

It's a janky setup of zipties that's holding the pods on. I trimmed and hollowed out the grill where I mounted the pods. This way it doesn't block the light output. I'll snap some shots of a close-up if you need.

Excellent tire. Great off the pavement. And no noise on it. I’ll run it as long as they keep making it

Figured I’d throw an update on my 285/75r16 XLT’s since I’m about to hit 60,000 miles in around 400 miles or so. I’ve run the same set on two trucks since I sold my last one, and they’ve seen a lot of highway, dirt roads, gravel, mud, snow, ice, etc.

At nearly 60,000 miles they have 6/32’s left on all 4 tires.

They have performed great in every condition they’ve gone through. I can’t speak highly enough of the wet traction, they simply won’t lose traction even as worn as they are now.

The only “issues” I’ve had are minor. One being over time they’re requiring more weight to balance (most being 5oz, compared to 1.5oz when bought), and minor cupping issues which was traced down to my worn kings.

They have the slightest hum on deceleration when coming to a stop but I can only hear it with the windows down and my music on low. On highway and regular driving they’re silent.

I’ve run these E loads on many different setups such as those pictured as well as just a simple bilstein lift with no extra weight. With all the setups, I felt as if they felt like butter on the road. Definitely no jarring or rough ride ever experienced.

Overall I couldn’t be happier with these tires. They’re a perfect mix of a daily-able tire with great off road characteristics. When it comes time to replace I’ll be going with 315/75r16’s. i just love these in E's. i run the LT's, which are essentially the same tire. i noticed recently that they no longer make the XLT in 285, only the LT now. i last checked a couple weeks ago and the smallest size for XLT was 295 if i remember right. i was gonna get a set but looks like I'll be staying on the LT E's even though I'm upsizing.

They’re probably just out of stock, they’re certainly still making them in a 285
