The hornsdown thing is more in the heads of aggy and ou than anyone else. Pretty sure Texas just laughs it off. As dumb as when your rival (Auburn included) does dumb shit to promote whoever is playing against them in a game. Example War Damn Irish or Roll Ducks Roll. Basically a meaningless retarded gesture.

What? Where have you been? Judging by Texas' comments over the last few years, I'd say the "hornsdown thing" is in their own head more than anyone else. And I don't think UT has been in OU's head for at least two decades.

 

I'm an outsider looking in but seems pretty ghey to me like the other examples I mentioned. Naturally having a rival you know that they know they want you to lose especially on the biggest stages. As an Auburn fan I wouldn't waste my money on a bammer logo to put it upside down to show I despise the Todd. Kinda goes without sayin'. UT in ou's head on the field? definitely not. I suppose I mean more in the fans heads over the hornsdown thing. Pretty fuckin dumb.

 

They lobbied to have it become an unsportsmanlike gesture in the B12 for years, and Tom Herman borderline cried about it after every game an opposing player did it.

That's the whole point of a rivalry. I have a close cousin in Austin and we shit-talk back and forth about our teams and can laugh about it. It's the fabric of sports as we know it. What would OU/TX, ALA/AUB, OSU/Mich, Red Sox/Yankees, Packers/Bears etc. etc. etc. be without that hatred and good-natured (sometimes not so friendly) sparring?

 

Until it crosses the line, like the time the OU fan snatched the balls off the UT fan in that bar in Norman.

I attended OSU for two years, some of which I can vaguely recall. My folks called bullshit after two years and I had to get a job and go to school at night to finish my degree at another school (I even took some classes from OU). So, I'm only a lukewarm Cowboys fan.

 

I call bullshit on that, no way a t-sip has balls.
