Though this is a different product I followed this guys method for wiring to the cigarette lighter. Worked great.

You should get a 20' truck, load it and tow the Tacoma. You're not going to get the answers you want from this crowd. Just my 2 cents.

I bought my truck new and in the first year I had 5 cracked windshields. The first 4 were spider webs that were repaired but the 5th one spread to over a foot long forcing it to be replaced. My research showed that our OEM glass is made by Pilkington so I did not want another of their windshields. I found that PGW had good reviews so I requested that the glass company use PGW only. It took a couple days longer to get the windshield but I am so glad that I went with PGW. In the last 4 years I have not had one single crack in my windshield even though I have had several stones and rocks hit it. Hope this helps.

I'm a fleet mechanic at a utility company, we have 180+ vehicles and use a version of the same inflator but with a 5' hose and its lasted several years, like it so much I got one for home, great tool!

Loaded the wheeler up for riding later. (The truck really isn’t squatting that much other tire was in a lower spot.) 61F16FD2-A0FC-45DB-B6E4-9A53DCF38AE2.jpg

Hit the nail on the head there! The truck easily would perform as needed and be just fine with the intended trip.

I ended up getting an insane deal on a Penske truck thanks to a family friend. If I hadn’t I’d be towing, would have made a nice thread about it once all done just to stick a tongue at some of y’all. Insane how little some of y’all trust the very same vehicles you spent time talking about on a forum…. Some y’all should be driving a Prius.

Definitely a good fix. I broke mine a couple months ago and found a local glass/mirror company to cut a new one. They charged me about $350

Know what you mean, a rock mine a week after I got it. I was lucky, just a small crack, took it into Novis and they shot that goo into it and saved the day, no cost.

Is anyone getting new windshields having to recalibrate the Safety Sense camera?
