Can anyone show me stock photos of the 2016 front end and undercarriage. I recently had my truck repaired after hitting a deer and the auto shop did a half ass job. Please see photos for reference of what I'm looking for.

A little explanation of what you think they did half-ass.

For starters the bumper is a different color then original. should be black. and the air deflector that should be mounted to the bottom of the bumper is missing.

Take it back. Tell them to make it right. You have it listed as offroad, they don't come with air deflector/dam

Get the black one and the air dam had no business on there.

I'm honestly just trying to compare the underside to a stock 2016 tacoma trd off road, Too see if they did cut more corners other then the front bumper being a different color then original.

So are all the extra mounting points in the bumper for a air dam and that's why there not used?

Wtf? Just noticed that the bumper is different color. It should be flat black if you have the off-road.

Also your truck doesn’t come with the damn front air dam.

Yeah those extra holes you see are where the air dam would be mounted if the truck were a sport model. Did they replace the bumper or repair it?

Was it off the truck when it went to the shop? The reason I ask is that the painter may have not known the center should stay black without seeing the original one. If it was still on the truck when you took it to the shop there really is no excuse. You could have them paint the center flat black (easy enough) but to be like original that portion is supposed to be left unpainted. I think it looks fine painted but that's up to you man.

I had to cut the bumper off after I hit the deer so no it wasn't. And I don't really care about it not being flat black. but you couldn't match the paint on the rest of the vehicle why silver when the truck is gun metal gray. Also on a side note this truck took that hit like a champ 60mph on I90 in Montana and only cosmetic damage. Drove it back to Washington no problems.

I thought it looked silver but I didn't want to say because sometime light will do crazy things with color. It really doesn't make much sense to have two-toned the bumper without knowing how it was supposed to look. It's actually a lot more work to two tone a bumper than just masking off the parts that are supposed to stay black. I will say they messed up but it wasn't because of a lack of effort. It's really up to you where you go from here. If you think you might like it, keep it. Or you could have them spray the silver part flat black. Or, tell the shop you won't accept it and want a new bumper. It does look pretty cool and you're the only guy with one like it.

I am assuming your talking about the bumper valance? That’s the only thing that looks off color to me. You can either pull it and plasti dip/ paint it or have them take it off and do it. I’m assuming they thought it was color matched or ordered it painted not knowing the colors don’t match. That or try and sell it and order one online if you want the exact black color they come in. Last option is to remove the paint and hope that it is original color and you should be good. Check the back to see what color it is.
