(Crosses fingers and holds hands behind back) "Honey I was involved in a hit and run, it's gonna cost $6,000 to fix it, or $3,000 if I get fiberglass fenders and bedsides."

So will it work, will I get the ok? LOL

    it happened winning at MOAB

I'd say at that point you need a high clearance wrap around rear bumper with tree saver hoops on the side for bedside protection, possibly with a dual swingout to mount spare tire for easy access on trail and to install Archive hammer hangers with crossbrace, right?

I really don't know if fiberglass is worth it
stock: can install KBvoodoo side caps, fiberglass can't
but, both have flat tops, which may or may not improve mounting topper, etc.
I guess wider, looks cool, probably more tire clearance

idk how u gonna find used bedsides. Maybe from a junkyard Taco in a front crash. IF the junkyard is reasonable on pricing...Then there's availability; how far away they are, if they have matching color

I wonder what would happen if you hired a PDR guy
or kicked it outward really hard
but the plastic/composite bed blocks the inner portion of the bedside mounted on

feel like I just got pulled over by the Swag Patrol told me I'm Not Flexin Enough

I thought those were supposed to be yellow

and how do u know about Wera Zyklop

FWIW lifted suspension usually means carrier bearing drop spacers kit that lowers it anyway to reduce vibes (cheap from OME, etc.)

I’ve been running the same bearing for a while now, could never fully get ride of the little amount of vibe. Not too bad. I tried a bunch of different size spacers. Think I ended up with 1.75

It’s a cheaper spicer XC bearing. Have been running one for thousands of miles now.

    All stock, baby!
Put on new aftermarket mud flaps and replaced the idler pulleys and tensioner bearing. One was pretty noisy, a second was not as far along but still needed replacement. The other two could have stayed on but I figure do it once and likely will never need to again.

Was going to press the bearing in my vise but instead opted for the BFH which did a fine job. Overall really quite easy as others have noted. Most of the time was spent cleaning up the tensioner pulley and the washers that cover the bearings.

I had some good luck with a toilet plunger, popping out dents.

Worst case, remove the tail light to see if behind the panel is reachable.

After swapping my tweeters and 6x9's for Kickers, using my basic head unit, I said the main things I missed about my 3rd gen were the bluetooth and ability to plug and play my music on my thumb drive. Well I fixed those by adding a $30 isimple brand bluetooth (BestBuy) with the usb reader, a charger and phone connectivity. Took nearly 2 minutes to pair and be up and jamming with my usb drive. Has volume control and an sd card reader too. Only plugs in to the 12v outlet so no extra aux wire to deal with. Needless to say this beats spending $350+ for another head unit. This will certainly get me by for quite a while. Can also use my phone as a music source but I never do that. My phone is just a phone to me. May come in handy when I use waze on the road. The green lighted ring color can be changed so that is like, well, something special I guess.

I did almost same dent on mine too. My son and I were at an atv park going to hotel for the night. My truck is 6 speed so I started it up and was putting address for hotel in.... truck started rolling and I didn't notice until it stopped when trailer jacked into bed. I was so pissed. I only had the truck for about a month.

    Too many to list.

A few weeks ago I got too close to the right hand side of a driveway and my R R flare caught the hook of a mailbox causing a 3in long and about .25 deep scratch and damage to the flare/quarter panel. I was so mad I got home ripped off the flare (carefully-ish) and ordered a new flare right away, the gasket, and the vinyl protector.. 150.00 loss. I hammered out the dent but could use just a bit more to be close to perfect- I know this sounds silly but I'm looking for a medium size pebble rock to iron out the rest of the dent from the inside LOL

I finally ordered my orbital sander, sand paper and polish..hopefully I'll get that done next weekend. I hope it turns out ok but so far so good I think.
