    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

My son bought his lift and brake lines from them, and I've bought bumps, flip kit since the merger... didn't see any real difference from before... as a matter of fact, their shipping rates seem better now.

    Spares and tools are heavy.
At least I don’t carry stuff to actually build my camper at campsites anymore.
I might take all that stuff out and weigh it sometime.
I’m cool with the weight from it but I am curious.

    That’s a good point.

I'm definately going to figure out some ways to lighten things up. I need to cull through my tools and get rid of duplicates. Maybe also see if I can get lighter tools going on.

RTT rack is going to get a complete rebuild. It's all 3/16 (7 guage) wall, I'll probably go .120 (16 guage) or .083 (11 guage) wall. It only has to support about 450-500 pounds.

Maybe change the Weatherguard steel (larger) side boxes with some smaller aluminum side boxes.

Just got a surprise call from Yota1 and they are moving my engine rebuild/install date up by two months

I read an article on NPR about the PG&E response. Apparently, they saw trouble, opened a ticket and assigned it a low priority. Took the service tech four hours to respond and then he was unable to get to the location because crews were doing maintenance and he had to drive down to the hwy and back up another way. No radio contact but he was fighting fire.

Article makes it sound like response should have been instantaneous and that four hours was too long—I guess the reporter has never driven forest roads or even realizes what it takes to get around on roads that are barely roads.

Ok... yes, I'm fuckin dumbass. And I've asked this question a whole bunch of times.

@MattJakobs what rear coils does Robert need? Last time I will ask, I promise.

Going to order the damn things myself, right now.

Anyone going to be up near Chico, that will be down near Sac (or lower) any time soon?

That can pick up a bumper.

Just wanting to see if it's possible to get moved down towards my way, to lessen the distance.

EDIT*** Dude says he'll also be in Reno on Tuesday afternoon and can drag it over there.

Congrats man. At least rates are still low. So the extra money your paying now for the actual sale will be offset by not paying as much interest over the life of the loan.

I'm happy here and want to stay here... For now. Unfortunately I've been the reason we've moved the past 10 years. So she said she gets a turn

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
    Replaced:
    Front brake piston boots
    SPC upper ball joint boots

EDIT *** For the record, grease guns, are fucking stupid. I hate them.

    Cleaned:
Cleaned manual hub bodies, and lubed with PTFE lube instead of grease

    Fixed:
Both of the hub end dust covers on my CVs were a bit out of shape. Fixed them and greased where they come close to the dust covers on the back of the hubs.

Chasing a wheel speed squeek that is driving me nuts.
Thought it was brake pads... replaced, nope.
Thought it was a wheel bearing... replaced, nope.
Hopefully something I did today fixes it, or I'm stumped.

    Ok... now I'm fucking pissed.

No change in the squeeking :frusty:

Do you have a dust shield on your front brakes still? If so, could be slightly bent and hitting your tires?
