    Morning Pa! All this mower chat, allow me to chime in. Yesterday was one of those days over the hill @ the cabin. Planned on installing mower on the JD 522, found a pin on the 3 point hitch had a hairline crack so could not proceed. Decided to mow around the cabin with small Craftsman, 3 laps in, deck belt snaps. Tried to charge battery on the other Craftsman, but wouldn't hold a charge. So you know what? Hopped on the old 1956 Ford NAA started it right up, pulled the brush hog around for a bit. Oldest piece of equipment we have and the only one I could be productive on! Imagine that! So we will be stopping in to Tractor Supply after Church today, then the JD place tomorrow after work. Happy Sunday all!

    Armor rehab is not going as planned. I bought a siphon feed sand blasting kit from tractor supply. It did not work very well. 2 hours and I wasn't through half of the bottom side of one slider. I suppose Ill have to find a local blaster. Going the flap-disc, wire wheel route for the rest of the armor since it has flat surfaces.
    Maybe by AOAA this transition to 35s will be complete.

    Yeah those little kits don't work at ALL. Try looking into a rental place nearby for the mobile ones. I had to clean rust off 10 of these 2 ton cast steel things for work, got all of it done in a day. They do make a mess though, so get some old tarps covering everything.

    I don't have a compressor big enough to run one. I went to a friend's to try this kit. I figure I'll be just as far ahead taking the sliders to someone that has the stuff and paying them to do it. I just want to be done and get out on the trail.
