Yeah, it's crazy that when you do the build and price on Toyota's website that they want $309 for the bed light kit.

Damn, how did you manage this? I’ve been dicking with my OEM cover trying to get it to seal better, seeing this makes me think twice about messing with it.

    Question for the Gurus:

I live at 6400’ and drive around the mountains up to 9500’. All of my stuff looses HP up here. We have High Flow Air Filters on our two Diesel Pick Ups and love them.

Will a K&N Filter (drop in) or the TRD Air Box Kit provide more Air Flow and HP??

K&N will definitely allow for more air, the HP aspect is questionable. You might want to try a premium fuel without ethanol if you can.

K&N Intake will increase airflow and throttle response. That is more noticeable if you have a better than stock exhaust. If you want to add HP to a 3.5 then get a supercharger. They eliminated the headers option, which would provide that HP boost, with the 3.5 exhaust design.

Got my MESO headlight trim plates in the mail yesterday. I was wondering if anybody has found a way to install them WITHOUT completely tearing up the front end of my truck. I thought I saw somebody post how to do it in this thread, but couldn’t find the comment.

Did the OEM tailgate lock and bed lights yesterday. Agree with others here, these should be standard on at least some models. Pretty simple upgrades if you’re handy.

Anecdotal, but talking to my glass guy when he was repairing some chips for me… he said as long as the sensor is not disconnected, recalibration didn’t seem necessary. He said he had a few that were taken for recal after he replaced that way, and they hadn’t needed any adjustments.

Wait why is the glass sensor a hot new topic?

Shouldn't the alarm cover instances of "crackhead smashing window" or do I fundamentally misunderstand car alarms?
