I saw a hellcat at the Nissan dealer today. It had an unpainted aftermarket front bumper so it must have pretended to be a mustang for a while

A lot less sketchy than pulling an engine I guess. That's why I don't own a hoist. Harbor freight ones don't go higher enough.
I spent over an hour earlier looking for any rub marks. Rotors are fine, tires don't have rub marks, and I've tried a different set of tires/wheels in the front. In the past I've had shops bend the dust shields into the rotor but both aren't touching. I'd see the wear marks.

The alignment is insanely bad for being "in spec" so I'm technically driving around with a ton of positive camber. But it's the same terrible alignment firestone did on it in march. I'm just at a loss and since the wheel bearings don't spin freely I'm tempted to throw my spare set of spindles on and see what happens.

Oh you’ve got a ton of camber? Your riding on the edge of the tires. That’s usually noisy as hell

Yeah I'm just inclined to think it's not them because it was like that for months already. I guess I can go deflate the tires to 15 psi and report back....

Ok now I’m just sort of confused. 15psi and I’m good. So if the firestone said my alignment in April was fine, and they matched the same numbers last week then they’re lying. Because it didn’t squeal at all driving in a straight line at 28-30psi before they touched it.

I had it aligned by someone else in June 2020 and it didn’t squeal at 35psi and I had no visible positive camber. They looked at the frame then as well.

Thanks @Empty_Lord I feel dumb. But honestly when a bunch of “professionals” at a Firestone act like you’re dumb for three visits you almost believe it.

I’ve continued to mention the extremely visible positive camber. And all they can say is “we align our vehicles on a computer not by our eyes” o_O

Oh I don't want to own one I just thought it looked good for a modern remake. I like the 2 door version better. I owned a Ford once when I was 16, that was enough.
(Transmission crapped the bed on that one)

Does this look odd to anyone else? The passenger tie rod it's angled pretty bad ,but it's parked on flat ground with the wheel straight. Nothing seems to be loose.

I have one from HF that I bought years ago. It sure doesn't go high enough. I ended up having to remove the wheels and setting the Taco on jack stands almost to the point of the brake rotors touching the pavement to get the motor out. I need to figure out a way to set some extra lift or sell it and get something that will lift higher. Sometimes you just need to rent a gantry crane.
