2020 Tacoma OEM LED Headlight Megathread

At least a return label was provided lol. I already asked my local dealer if they would price match the headlights before, straight out said NO.

Do you know which one was the Driver's side part number? I'm thinking it's LEFT?

Just found that out this weekend.

 

Ordered driver's side from Bochtoyotasouth, $72 more in shipping .

 

I know I just asked several questions and I appreciate @daveeasa for answering and also for making my excellent quality harness and shipping it very promptly! However, as I'm still reading and preparing to order my OEM LED's, I've come across another thought... There's so many places to get these headlights from, with mixed prices all in a similar range... Has anyone thought about warranty? What site/dealer offers to best (if any) product warranty on these $1300 headlights with non-replaceable bulbs?

 

I don't think the dealership is responsible for that. It's a Toyota thing.

 

Well I doubt Toyota offers any sort of warranty on the headlights once they're placed on a vehicle that they didn't come on with a wiring harness that's not their's? It could be the same for individual dealerships but I figured I'd ask. I'm assuming that if there's any functional issue with the headlights down the road you're SOL simply due to the aftermarket harness.

Much better packing with bubble wrap compared to packing paper from other dealer. I inspected before tearing down this time too .

 

I'm finally done! Was much quicker the second time around, but i got cocky and installed the headlight behind the fender panel and scratched the headlight up . I peeled the painters tape off and then proceeded to scratch it LOL.
