    as much as i wanted to stay and enjoy the cool temps and quiet of being at camp (bro crew vacated early this am) i hate driving the camper in high winds. so glad i came home now.
    i have mixed feelings about camping where i have cell service as you dont fully get ot unplug but being able to keep up to date on weather is nice

    holy cow. winds have died down, rain and lightning started. i was out in the camper stripping the sheets off the bed when a lightning bolt struck...somewhere close, really close. camper lit up and shook when the thunder hit almost simultaneously.
    came out of the camper and it smells like someone doused a campfire right next to me. the winds must have blown a bunch of smoke in and the rain is making it super smelly.

    oh, and it was 90 when i got home at 2pm, its 70 now and supposed to be 38 tonight. heater is on in the camper i don't need frozen pipes
