Thanks for the wheel link, I'm a-okay with last years models, don't need to be current.
I dig those bars, I was just looking at the 2.5 version of the Jones H-Bar like an hour ago, same sorta deal (kinda) (link and photo below). A set like that might be the go. I like the sweep on it. Hi rise stems have a funny swanlike look sometimes on these bikes I can't argue that at all.
And I'm definitely going to do the 1x. I hardly find myself shifting much these days. Also I'm over the Sora integrated shifters, I miss triggers.

Took me an hour to do a simple engine oil change, 45 min trying to get the fucking filter off. Never have trouble doing it by hand in the past but this time it was cemented on there.

Mangled the hell out of it with a pair of channel locks but it finally broke loose

I rode an old Titec-branded Jones bar for a while. Not as wide and not as much rise (no rise, actually) as the one you're looking at. I swapped it for the Surly Sunrise, mostly because I thought the Sunrise looked cooler. I liked both bars for comfortable casual riding, but I've since but a more traditional flat bar on that bike. The deep backsweep of the H-Bar and Sunrise Bar made the steering feel boat-like on the singletrack I've been riding lately.

That was all on a single-speed MTB, so totally different purpose from what you're going for. Sounds like the Jones Bar would be good for you.

Also I appear to have a coolant leak right where the trans and block meet, thought it was the rear main seal at first but it's definitely coolant, not engine oil (no ATF - manual trans). Can't see where it's coming from though :annoyed:

That's an odd location to have coolant at...

    Blown motor, part out.

    Dibs on supercharger.

    Everything but the driveshaft. B03A - 410
Here's the back of the engine. It could be the coolant hose.

Check your heater core where it comes threw the fire wall. It be a bad hose and leaking down.

Be happy to do it, but he's gotta have that supercharger off first.

Tore into the bottom end of the 454... Well there's a reason we inspect... Guess it's going off to the machine shop. Found a lot of glitter.

I've got lots of experience! Was a small engine parts/service guy for many years... What's the question?
