I have a 2016 tacoma and I found an empty female 2 wire terminal that was unplugged. It branches off the harness just before the washer fluid pump and I'm stumped. I really wanna figure out what it connects to and would be eternally grateful if someone can help me figure it out. Picture: https://imgur.com/a/AQP6h9t

Based on a different thread it might be the low washer fluid sensor which is required in Canada. Apparently if you can get a Canadian spec. tank and sensor it will work in US trucks with no mods required.

Thank you! I wish they put it on the US models, but I mean how often do you go through a tank of washer fluid? I'd think a year, I lift my hood every month at least and its not hard to check so idk kinda pointless

So has anyone found the washer fluid tank part number that has the level sensor?
I want one, just because, and if i find the tank part number will post.
Maybe one of our Northern bothers/sisters can see if their tank has a part number on it and post it.
