Nice I was looking at these, how do UCA's help? Just trying to get more information before I buy them.

Anyone have any issues with clunking over bumps? Almost sounds like there’s not enough droop in the springs up front. I checked all the bolts. Might be the uca? My spc uca’s were used and when the truck is in the air if I push and pull on the uca across the truck there’s a tiny bit of play. I can hear it clicking. Also, how tight are your guys top hat bolts?

2017 TRD OR. SPC UCA, ecgs bushing, Icon 1.5 progressive add a leaf, Eibach set to 1st clip. Need to add 1/4 spacer to drivers side yet.
Took 120 mile trip right after. Improvement overall, riding on city streets an highway much nicer, smooth over bumps not bouncing like oem suspension, not nose diving hard when breaking, overall more control. Kinda surprised me how nice it is.
Currently on Cooper at3 4s 265/75/16. Shopping for 2nd set of wheels for 255/80/17s.

The below is from the JBA site but they help add caster when you lift your truck.
I chose them not only for that but the warranty as well plus the customer service is good.

    JBA UCAs give you MORE!

    • More spring clearance is More suspension travel
    • More Caster
    • More Articulation, See JBA vs Uniball
    • More Traction on the trails

I installed the pro lift with 1/2” spacers up front and a single 1.5” add-a-leaf in the rear. I’ve put a few thousand miles on it since the picture so it’s settle alittle. Stock ucas with no issues on alignment. I like Eibach, I like the quality of their product but man the front is stiff. With no extra weight up front those 742lb springs are tough.

Eibach 2nd notch front, 1/2" MotoFab driver side lean Spacer, Icon RXT full leaf pack on option #2, Eibach strut in rear. Stock UCA.
    265/75/16 Wildpeaks on -12 Ray 10's.
No shims, no ECGS, diff drop nothing, still no vibrations.

About 700km into the full suspension (rear was installed a week before the front, that alone was a great improvement) and she rides good. 2nd notch with no front bumper (just skids, sliders, and me @ 215lbs) and it rides properly stiff if that makes sense. Not hard, just really damn right and how it should have came. Rear is phenomenal, absorbs the trails, good flex, rebound etc. Very happy with this set, perfect in the city too where I'm at 50% of the time

I was ecstatic to see the front when I was done installing...the physical difference is so much nicer. I have a small amount of rake, which I wanted.]

This pic is with a full tank and about 150lbs in the rear. level if not slight rake.

Driveway install, if I can you can. Leafs are a bitch though.

Did anyone cut the u bolts on their 1.5 icon progressive setup? They stick down pretty far.

I cut mine down with a grinder, but eventually ended up replacing the Icon AAL with a full leaf pack. They started sagging with the additional weight from the long bed, camper shell, and tools.

I did Eibach on 1st notch, SPC UCA, Icon 1.5 progressive add a leaf, needle bearing, currently 265/75/16, going to 255/80/17 on 2nd set of wheels. Truck rides an handles great after Alignment. But does this look correct? 20210810_122043.jpg

1st notch. I guess ride quality is subjective to each individual but no complaints here. Just an observation and a personal opinion. It’ll smooth out once I decide on a bumper.

I’ve got about 1/2” rake to the back. Tempted to pull the 1/2” front spacers out.

Just installed my Eibach Pro lift. My set up is as follows… Eibach Lift on 2nd notch, 1/4 lean spacer, SPC UCAs, CB drop, 1” rear block, 1” Bora wheel spacers and ECGS bushing.

It does appear to be a TAD nose high. I was shooting for dead level. But I’d much rather flirt with a very little bit of squat than rake. I despise rake. The springs should settle a little, idk that it’ll be noticeable, but regardless I do plan to put something upfront anyways. Still haven’t decided whether a brush guard or SSO winch bumper. But there’ll def be something on the front shortly.

I’ve only put about 40-50 miles on it since the install and I’m extremely pleased. Within those 40-50 miles I’ll echo what everyone else has said. Seems that it drives better. It’s still a very comfy ride, but it does ride firmer, like a truck should. Kinda hard to explain. It’s much tighter too.

F**k whatever you heard about the ECGS bushing. That was a royal PITA!!! Never again. If there’s a decent shop in your area, I’d advise coming off the hip and letting them deal with that headache!

I’m jacked that I decided to powder coat the springs as well. Def a cool touch. The original silver kinda gives me a cheap corny type vibe. Not knocking anyone that cares for it, just not for me, and I’m extremely glad I took the time to go a different route with it. I’ve always been big on tiny, subtle touches.
