Couple of things over the past week

Added 265/70/17 Wildpeaks with pro style gloss black wheels from FSW

Gloss gray bedside decals

Removed the sport ‘chinstrap’

 

Head's up, CHP around Lake Tahoe will stop vehicles for that.

Continuing to dechrome my Taco.

Added the black overlays to the badging:







Next up will probably be vents and license plate. I also plan to change out the front valence and fender flares to matte black ones as well to add more contrast. Tail lights soon to follow afterwards.

I posted something about the dealer scratching my replacement headlights and breaking the clip. I will try to remember to edit a picture to show what/where clips to remove. The biggest challenge is the bumper to fender clip especially not knowing exactly how it connected- it has 3 tabs that it hooks into

This was an all day job

 

I'm aware lmao. It was squeaking and hard to close so this is only a short term fix at the moment

Finally for 30$ installed bed lighting. Still think this shouldn’t be an add-on. … but glad I didn’t pay Toyota 100$.

For any of you metal-licka fans out there. Not sure if i'm 100% sold yet or if I should go back to debadged look ;p

 

I think its cool and yea im a Metallica fan, but i wouldnt have that on my truck. Its a little cartoonish looking.

 

If anything it would look better if you placed it lower and a little more forward on the door so that the diagonal part of the “A” on this side (“M” on the driver’s side) is parallel to that crease.
