Hey everyone, new to the forum and curious if any of you have bought these pro fox shocks from the dealership. I have a trd off road and looking to upgrade.

Several people have gotten new ones from the dealer, but most people buy used take offs for half the cost.

I’m hoping to find some lightly used ones myself. Was curious if any of the dealer bought shocks came with a warranty tho

You normally can't get them unless you have a TRD Pro Vin to use to order them.

Even then the Fox aftermarket equivalent shocks are better and cheeper if you're willing to shell out for new OEM fox ones.

If you can get your hands on the front stuff go for it. The rears are no longer than the stock stuff you already have, longer Fox rears are a better bet.

Length of the shock is not the only thing that matters. The overall performance of the pro fox shocks is 100x better than the toothpicks the trd offroad comes with. Infact, I would say if he is looking at pro shocks in the first place, length means zero to him as the pro shocks are not a lift kit, they level out a stock tacoma and give you a much better ride than the stock ones do.

If he was interested in lifting the truck more than the 1 inch the pro does (only in the front) then he would be looking at something other than pro suspension.
