Windigo's truck may be a mess, but he is setup to do this at any given time during the day

Going to run this portion outside of the park to see where I can camp for a couple days.

If anyone has any tips/suggestions/don't fucking go there's, lemme know lol.

I want to paddle/see Barron Canyon so I might go here then drive through the park the next day and head for it.

Id be very interested to hear if you find a great drive up camping spot, bonus points for fun drive. I'm going to be doing a hiking trip in the park in a couple weeks but going to truck camp the night before to have a relaxed morning to start.

Currently looking at the top of crown lake on the map as an option

Top of crown looks promising, I was thinking that area too. The HATVA trails run around there so if anything there would hopefully be some cleared spots.

Come up from Livingstone rd and just try to make it toward one of those 3, Crown, Wolf, or Luck Lake.

Thats a pretty nice trail. There is a short section the north end that is muddy. Most of it from the south gravel. There is a snowmobile trail off cty rd 12 going north would be a challenge it's suppose to come out on hwy 60 at Troutspawn Rd. Near the middle it gets really muddy.

Anyone else have a shit rate for insurance?

    -no infractions on my record
    -10,000 km per year
-basic coverages + accident forgiveness (for first accident)
Discounts include: loyalty (8 years with this company), winter tire, multi-vehicle

Even quoting other companies is +/- $100/year ?? does the Tacoma just suck for insurance??

I'm turning 25 in September, so I expected a more drastic reduction.

I'm 19 (and in the GTA), got a quote from statefarm/desjardins and it was $320/month with my G2. If I were to get into an accident with them as my insurance, they would drop me on the spot and I would be fully liable (or so I'm told). With economical insurance it is $380/month and I can do anything but modify the frame (don't know if body mount chops count) or have a snorkel. And that includes $10K of insurance on the aftermarket parts. When i get my G in December both prices will drop by $30/month.

I dream of $160/month insurance right now! :bananadead:

Wife says I pay almost $2k a year.

I have only had 'car' insurance for 5 years. I only drove a motorcycle before I got my truck. Motorcycle insurance does not count for anything towards car or truck insurance for years insured or anything.

    RIP to your wallet.

I think @MaverickT883 would be a good comparison for you (if he wants to share anything), that sounds like the same rates I heard when I was car shopping at that age.

Do they know about all your mods?

In my experience, biggest discounts come from employer group deals and multi-product discounts (i.e. auto + home). I've had good deals with Cooperators but it comes with caveats. PM if you want to discuss further. If you already got quotes from them, then never mind.
