If it helps, I paid $736 for the kit from Passport Toyota and $710 for labor including alignment with my local dealer.

They sell the kit without the TSS and Heritage grille. Suspension components only. Im assuming for that price thats what you purchased?

Anyone here in Canada have success ordering just the shocks from the lift kit? Gave the part numbers to my parts guy and they don't work in the Canadian system. He did say the part # for the set of 4 shocks does work in their system but would need my vin to try and order them. Maybe I will get him to run the vin off the demo they have to see if he can actually order the shock kit.

I believe it depends on the dealer where you order from. I was able to order the 4 shock kit a couple weeks ago and there were multiple people on here that were also able to order it. I’m not sure about Canada though.

Those are the part numbers I gave him - they don't seem to work in the Canadian system:(

Hey I just put the kit in my Taco… here’s a photo right off of the Box that holds the shocks…

I had that ordered and installed in North Vancouver

Has anyone put this lift kit on a Tacoma Sr5 with stock wheels? I'm curious how goofy I'm gonna look until I can afford some new tires. I think my 21 SR5 has 245/75/16's atm

For what it’s worth the parts guy at North Shore Toyota is pretty good to deal with .. I’ve dealt with him for years.

he did speak of “the kit” like it was a “bunch of different part numbers they made up the kit”.

however, when my kit arrived and I dropped off the truck for install they did tell me that the kit had changed a bit and that the price had actually gone down.
So perhaps the part numbers were changed too.

If you don't mind me asking what did they sell you the kit for?

Just curious about something. For those of you who have installed the TRD OEM lift kit on the off road models; is the ride felt the same after? Or is it more harsh? Particularly if you used the topmost groove in the front shocks for maximum 2" lift with the off road OEM springs?

Did McGill do your lift? If so what was the OTD price? I am thinking about having them do mine. Thanks.

My ‘21 has the stock Sport tires on 17” Trd Sema’s and it does look a little bare after the lift, but its a work in progress at the moment.

Just fyi. My local shop did the actual Bilstein 5100 version of the rebranded TRD Kit . Parts were $600 , including rear Eibach 1” lift blocks . Labor was $275 including alignment.

Lifetime warranty on the Bilstein shocks, vs Toyotas 12k mile, 1 year warranty on the TRD Bilsteins.

So im gonna order the front and rear shock part numbers, can anyone confirm that the rear part numbers come with the blocks? Also im running a warn semi hidden bumper and winch which is making my front sag a bit on stock sport suspension. If i run the 1.5” setting up front and 1” block in rear will i have a pretty decent rake? The wheels are currently ‘20 sport with 265/70/17

Installed on the highest setting. I would say the ride is more firm, but I wouldn’t describe it as harsh. I prefer the ride with the lift over the stock shocks.

I can’t comment on rake you might have with that setting given the extra weight you run, but I do know that the rear shock part numbers do not come with a block. You will need to order a rear lift block separately if that is the route you want to take to lift the rear.
