    Folks,

Can anyone tell what they use a front tow for? And what brand they use for a 2nd gen Tacoma front two receiver to be place on Truck? Thx.

Are you talking about pulling your truck from behind another truck?
If so, you will need a driveshaft disconnect.
I personally wouldn’t tow mine that way.

No, I was considering putting a front row reciever on so that I could have rod holder/cooler added as well as bike carrier in case I want to use the back two for boat, etc. But the ones--Reese, Cort, etc, are super expensive for 2011 Tacoma.

I also want to make sure I keep my front tow loop where it is....

Mounting a detachable winch would be my first thought.

This is what I use mine for.
I also have hitch mounted steps for getting into my slide in camper. When driving down the road, I store the camper steps in the front hitch.

There are a few folks who live near water on here that have fabricated rod holders for their front hitch receiver - a couple of them hold a cooler too. Neat idea!
