    also I didn’t use a flange nut at the top is that also good?

    Does the spring properly seat in the perch below? Thats the most important part.

    You’re fine on both counts. FYI, the busing at the top will sometimes bulge out a little more after some time on the truck. It’s normal but you just want to make sure it’s still isolating the spring from making metal to metal contact with the top hat.

    My last and final question

    I know it’s not safe nor recommended to use a impact drill but I was inpatient. Does this affect the adjustable ring? Nightmare scenario is that sucker popping off.

    I ended up using a leveler on both ends. To ensure but just don’t know if I have to be that concerned if it’s not truly 90 degrees.

    Just bolt the top 3 bolts into the truck and put a screwdriver into the lower bushing and twist it into position.
