I'm on my first set of duratracs (265/75R16 E Load) and couldn't be happier with them. they are definitely noisier than my prior tires (yokohama geolanders, came with the truck when i bought it), but love their performance off road and the snow.

I've had pretty good luck with Cooper S/T Maxx, E rated.

I’m on my third set of KO2s and haven’t had an issue with them. I stay out of the mud so not comment on their performance there but they do fine in the snow. I’ve found, especially with the load range E tires, that you have to keep the pressure lower. I run them between 32-35 psi.

My biggest concern with tires in NV is durability. Don’t really care about minor improvements in snow or mud performance if I’m gonna have a sideway slashed 4 hours from the nearest tire shop in the middle of nowhere.

interesting, i run mine closer to 40 psi. do you run them lower just for ride harshness? when i go offroad and I'm not lazy i'll air them down to 18 psi or so

Best bet is to do the chalk test but 40 would seem too high for me for a Tacoma. Both ride and performance.

Only run them for 5k so far but wildpeak AT3’s have been great for me. On road is damn near the stock wranglers my truck had, and offroad the tires kill it and managed in abt 8-10 inches of snow no problem. That’s the biggest test I’ve done of them so far.

I’ve heard great things about these. Interestingly, my brothers new Gladiator Rubicon came stock with them. I always thought Jeep put BFGs on Rubicons. Maybe a supply chain thing.

Road noise was a big thing for me. Weight wise I’m not sure because I wasn’t too concerned. But the road noise is unnoticeable if you have any volume of music. I’ll give another update after this Thursday when I make the 12 hour drive from Phoenix to Reno.

Love my Deegan 38's. Great onroad and have never had issues offroad. Noise is quiet and wear is fantastic given how i drive like a maniac (as I've recently proven)

Relentless Armored! Too many others to list.
If you're looking for a durable snow-rated AT tire I'd look to the Falken AT3's or the new Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT tire. I really love my Baja Boss MT's and am excited to try out a set of their new ATs on one of our rigs as soon as a few more sizes get released. They look rather agressive for an AT but are still snow rated and have a 50K mileage warranty.
Whatever you choose, I recommend 3ply sidewalls. The Duratrac's and many other ATs are 2 Ply sidewall which makes them more susceptible to cuts/punctures.

Thanks. I was trying to remember what tires you mentioned last time I was in the shop.

This weekend was a reminder that I need to take 30 minutes to install the other skids too. There's a lot less ground clearance when you lose a tire. Fortunately the IFS skid did its job when it took a hit by the oil drain hole.

I think the E are still just 2 ply sidewalls. It'll tell you on the sidewall though.

im learning all kinds of good stuff about tires today. guess the 10-ply is just the main tread then. knock on wood they haven't shredded yet

I'm currently running C rated because I was after a softer sidewall and trying to keep the wheel weight down. This is the first sidewall puncture I've had on them. I typically air down to 20psi when I'm off pavement but didn't this time out and I'm thinking that may have played into things since the tire couldn't deflect around the rock as much.

I can NOT recommend Cooper STT Pros for what you’re looking for.

I love them, but they’re loud, heavy, and ride like a brick. I’ll take all that for the 10-ply and not having to worry as much about getting a flat off-road. I hardly ever drive my truck so I don’t care

My ST Maxxs were okay, they cupped pretty often so lots of rotations. And seemed to chunk kinda easily.

I had different requirements when I bought these. We sold the big trailer and have another vehicle for longer trips that don't take us off road. My next set will be 10 ply but I'll probably stick with a aggressive/hybrid AT since I'm usually going over Mt Rose Hwy to Incline several times a week in the winter.
