What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

thanks! been a work in progress. Did a 3 in rough country lift (wish I could afford some Kings) With 285 70 17 BFG KO2s. The wheels are from a TRD Pro 4runner that I bought off of Facebook marketplace for 500 bucks.

 

This wiring job is amazing. Nice work! What label maker/heat shrink did you use here?

 

I just stumbled across this RC Tacoma being released in the near future and I have to say I’m very tempted. The cost is still very high in my opinion though at $429.99.

 

Anybody see anything wrong with these demon brackets?



Tried to install them after work today and realized I couldn't.

 

Should there be a right and a left? I really don’t know but I have thought about buying a set.

 

I saw that too. It's a 1 piece Lexan body with paint and decal lights. It is a complete kit and looks very good for a 1 piece copy.

I like these and understand the concept but how do you convince your wife to sit back there? Mine will say no.

 

Yep, I got 2 passenger side brackets. I put 2 coats of paint on them and never realized until I tried installing them.

 

Wow that sucks. Where did you get them? Maybe they will take them back or send you two drivers sides and you could sell me the left overs. Lol

 

Good thing is its already RTR. Just my custom made wheels and custom King shocks cost that much.

 

Yes, but behind the light decals is clear lexan. Knights Customs will be making light buckets and other aftermarket parts(Pro grille). Peel off the decal and instant headlight lens.

 

That's great. It's a good looking body. Should be a big seller.

 

victory blitz sliders installed yesterday and rock lights wired today

i do not recommend bench pressing steel sliders to install

 

I'm new to sliders... I don't want you to perceive me as making fun of you cause this is a serious questin: Are those real/functional sliders? It's hard to tell in the photos if those are at a proper 20-30 degree angle and I don't think I see any kick out....
