There are occasions where I need to place things in the bed but I’m worried about stuff flying out. I bought a tailgate net on Amazon using my points- cost me $6.

Idk man. I can't see how it would impede the range of motion enough to do that. Hell I know it can't actually because the steering stops gouge the crap out of the LCAs so really they extend MORE than an OEM LCA because there are no steering stops on the LCAs.

You may be right, but it's just a hypothesis. I have no numbers to back it up so who knows. I'll know forsure when I can compare it against another truck and then I'll take it all back lol.
Mine hit on the arm too, I just ground down the steering stop on the LBJ so it wouldn't anymore

Finished installing a winch battery disconnect (Blue Sea Systems 3000), having all the right tools makes installation easy. IMG_20210809_205458_856.jpg IMG_20210809_205503_866.jpg

I'm following this one, seems pretty easy so far. I just ordered the wrong bearing so now thats on hold (I'll continue the TB and WP in the mean time) I just ordered this bearing as its an NSK, the same dimensions and it won't take a month to get here

Alright a little lost on this noise im hearing now, sounds exactly like a wheel bearing going out, need to check the rears today
But is it possible for a front wheel bearing to be going out if theres absolutely zero play with the truck jacked up, and wheels spin like a top

My experiences with other bearings is that if it spins too easily, it could just as well be shot. The blade arbor on my table saw is a prime example. It spins for what seems like forever once it's going, so I actually need to rehab its bearings.

Get an IR temp gun and take it for a drive. Compare the temp of the spindle afterwards.

More progress today, got the 3 seals replaced and the WP surface cleaned. Now gonna clean up some of the hardware and get a few of the studs that came out back in before I start buttoning everything back up

Also valve covers are definitely gonna be sooner than I thought. It’s pretty gross up in there
