Thursday is the big day for my colonoscopy, my father in law is taking me. I'm going to ask them if they have a room with one of those one way mirrors so he can watch.

    going to be fun!
I was feeling nervous, and embarrassed about my upcoming colonoscopy. On a recommendation, I decided to have it done in Kernersville. I was convinced that the beautiful nurses were allegedly more gentle and accommodating here in my home town.

As I lay naked on my side on the table, the gorgeous nurse began my procedure.

"Don't worry, at this stage of the procedure it's quite normal to get an erection," the nurse told me.

    "I haven't got an erection," I replied.

"No, but I have," replied the nurse.

Guy brought in a roller off of a harley rake with a broke bolt and bearing race that needed to be removed. Bearing race was no problem, hot wrench on it.

Took the dremel tool and cut a notch in the bolt hoping to get lucky with the new MAC impact driver

    IMG_2279.jpg

Went to the lathe and made a piece to keep me centered so I could drill it, heat it, and use an easy out(s) to extract it, never budged :frusty:

2 1/2 hours later, 5 easy outs, lots of heat, oil, etc. and more drilling this is all of the bolt I managed not to turn into chips. It was 1 1/2" long and 1/2-20 :goingcrazy:

No, they were right hand. I don't know why it wouldn't come out. Figured maybe it had loctite on it but the heat would have broken that loose. I left about 3/8" of it in the bottom and I couldn't get that to turn out either.

Don't think so, he said the other end came loose and caused the bolt to break off.

Might have been damaged threads combined with a bit of corrosion? Either that, or whomever put it in last used their 48" breaker-bar and their full body weight to tighten it. I had to get a bolt out of my climbing spikes to change the gaffs; threaded part was only 3/8" long, but it was in there - I even went so far as to weld a sacrificial hex bit on to it... just twisted out the metal of the head. Took two hours with a Dremel, needle files, and a LOT of profanity to get it out of there, and like 'Creed, I wound up with a piece of thread about 3/16 or less that was so thin, it looked like a Heli-coil.
