the top of the steering wheel has all your display in it, speedo, tach, shift lights etc. Pretty common in race cars

Looks nice! I've always had mixed feelings about the color-matched flares on White Tacos over black flares. I recently traded in my 18 White Sport long bed and I loved my white flares. I've always thought that the white flares made my truck look so clean and sharp! I traded in my 18 for a 21 OR LB which as you know has the black flares. When I traded my Sport for the OR I managed to switch off the hoods so now I have a new OR LB w/ a Sport hood (your twin, LOL). Now I am really liking the look of the black flares which makes the truck look more tough and aggressive looking. I still think both look great! Here are some before (18 Sport) and after (21 OR) pictures of my Tacos.

I realize that comparatively it’s not a bad price, but to me it is still high. Anybody that knows me, will tell you I am cheap when it comes to most things in life. I would much prefer to shop thrift stores than retail stores for most non clothing / non food items. It has gotten me some unwanted attention from bystanders in the past when I offer someone what I’m willing to pay for an item and everyone starts yelling at me for trying to lowball the seller. I just don’t always see things the same as everyone else is all. This RC truck does have me questioning my wants and needs though as it looks soo cool.

I stopped counting after the $1500 mark on the Tekno MT410 I built, but I wouldn't doubt 2k or more with all the tools, paint, and the extras I bought. Best part of all, it sits on the shelf unused most of the time. :boink:

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
Sounds about right. The extras and custom parts add up. I mostly just wanted a working exact replica so the Minime mostly just sits. That's why I built the Overland to mess around with.

Thanks man, yeah I really like how the TRD Pro looks which is the whole reason why I changed it out. You lucked out with the hood change as well, my truck just looks like a Pro but yours has all the same off-road capabilities as the PRO as well. I agree that it does make it look more aggressive. Your rigs looks awesome, I’m digging your wheels.

How were you able to go to the scales. I thought that was only for commercial vehicles. Can you just go through and pay?

That is what I put on my truck in December and they have held up great. I was so excited I brought my tailgate in and let it warm up and the put it back on my truck.
    Looks good.

I think it's close to the OEM kind. I'm glad they are holding up !

    Thanks man!

It's just the lowly old non-turbo. It's got more bark than bite thanks to the gutted cat and pretty much strait pipe exhaust. Been trying to sell it, but no luck. Guess I'll wind up "restoring" it. Needs alot of work, but I guess that's what Winter is for.

Put my Softopper on it today. Well, got the Softopper today too. my daily driver/camping rig is getting closer to where I want it to be. pretty much done though, since bed light, better tires, bike rack and Softopper were the main things I needed for that.

Thanks, your truck looks awesome! I really like your headlights and wheels and I may upgrade if there are any good sales on Labor Day. Long beds are the best looking trucks out there!

    stockish for now
Just drove on up, pressed the button and the lady said come on in to pay. A lot of military use the scales too when they they do a DITY (do it yourself) move to be reimbursed, she thought that was the case but I was just curious

Turned the Taco into a Burrito! Reused the camper shell from our previous Tacoma onto this one.

I wish I’d had known about this fob before I spent on the MESO or AJT one! I thought the case/shell, was made of metal though, hence the price, but sadly I was wrong.

    Very nice, OEM feel though.

I been curious too about how much my camper is loaded too. You never realize how much some things weigh when you pile it in. I see them at truck stops but thought you needed something like a fleet card to use one.
