After 13 weeks of waiting, and about a week of preparation (removing all the mill scale and sprayed 2 layers of Steel-It Paint)....finally got my RCI sliders installed (The wait was well worth the quality of craftsmanship). And then proceeded to clean, clay bar, and wax the truck.

Picked up a Leer canopy a few weeks ago. $600 from a guy selling his Tacoma. Gave the old truck a nice wash & wax once I got it on.

Cut my panhard bar and put it in place. Will be able to cycle the suspension and then final weld all the brackets.

Replaced the old stock factory leaf packs with the spacer with some OME EL095R my buddy gifted me!! Managed to raise the rear about 0.5” which is pretty sweet considering I’ve got about 400 lbs in the back.

Hell of a DIY weekend, installed this used soft bed cover I got for $100 off FB marketplace. Had the house (garage) to myself so decided to do some needed maintenance at 104k. She runs like a brand new truck!

There’s a really easy fix to this in here somewhere. Piece of gutter leaf filter and a couple zip ties! Took me 15 min and my filter hasn’t been dirty since. If I can find the thread, I’ll send it to you.

They do. I snagged one on Amazon as it was ridiculously discounted a few months ago.

Yeah I got mine for 35, I needed it bad so I didn’t want to wait. You can find it for a few bucks cheaper on Amazon. I think it’s worth not ever having to buy one again. My AC is working far better than it was before I installed the k&n too.

Yeah I paid like $20 for this paper one, so $35 would have been fine for a lifetime filter... :pout:
