    Good morning Susan. I am off to run errands. I think I finally decided on where to locate two gauges in the Tacoma. Means I need to fabricate a custom faceplate for the area in front of the shifter.

    It also means I have an unopened A Pillar gauge pod I need to sell. I should have done better research before I purchased it for the project. :(

    it's acting up... the reason I asked, my open programs aren't showing up on the bottom task bar :notsure: closed it down the same way I always have...

    Are you running Windows XP? It may be that the quick start area has shrunk and you just need to drag the bar over to the left to expose the icons.

    Do a right click in the area then go to "Tools". Is the Quick launch toolbar checked?

    Yes, to XP. The things that show up on the right side are there... it's like now that I have google open, there's usually a "tab" next to the start button for any program open....

    No, not those.... although I don't miss those... the ones that are there when a program is open, so if I minimize a page, I can click the tab on the bottom, and the page opens back up...

    Do a right click at the bottom of the page and click on "Properties" If it is not clicked click on the box "keep taskbar on top of other windows".

    Is the quick launch bar fully open all the way to the left? Hover your pointer over the bar of dots then left click and pull the bar over to the right to make the program bar area larger.

    If the task bar has been shrunk then no the program will not show up. The options are to make the area taller by dragging the entire area up or making the quick launch area smaller by dragging the perforated bar to the left.
