might be a small allen set screw holding it on secure....................maybe

Ok guys i know ive been dragging this thread on for awhile but ive been busy with other projects. I recently blacked out most of the chrome thanks to AJT Designs. Ill post some pictures. But tomorrow ill take on that ebreak.

 

Ok couldnt wait. All in all not bad at all. Please be mindful to face the knob end of your zip tie to the bottom as the knob will bother you. As it causes a large visible bump inder the leather skirt. Side note: ebay has many other color options. So pissed i waited so long.

 

Other projects have included interior and exterior chrome delete. A digital multi mount, a new grille with integrated turn lights as well as blackout sequential turn lights on the mirrors ,As well as a tune from PapaRee. I was gonna add a pic of the grille but lighting is shit. I can add pics later if youd like.

 

So to clarify you have to cut off the factory handle?

 

So the plastic handle was molded on the metal part. That explains why it would not just slide off. I suppose you wouldn't want it to just slide off. Did the push button came off easy or you had to spread the handle ?, any other things to keep in mind ?, it appears that there is a rod something inside...any issues with that?

Why not use a small amount of C4 from the beginning and call it a day...

 

Only the rubber. And its not very thick. But the epoxy is a bit tough.
